Although Apple has said “no” several times, testing of these assumptions are still emerging products, but Is it true or false?

On the one hand, we have the constant buzz of the MacBook Mini, which now becomes much more “safe” after discovering that the statistics of Adium have found a strange computer name “MacBook Mini”. Product this supposed to be a non-professional use and more as a MID, music, surfing the internet and see pictures and video in high definition (HD).

On the other side were signs of an alleged iPhone ‘lite’, an iPhone would be smaller, thinner and cheaper than the current one. Now you only have to wait, but not the WWDC’09 because, supposedly, is a developer comferencia.

Finally, and only after nine months of life, the App Store has reached the incredible figure of one billion. Surely some of the thousands have been for the final awards, Apple thinks that giving a MacBook Pro 17 “, a ticket from the iTunes Store, gift of ten thousand dollars for a 32GB iPod touch and finally to a 1TB Time Capsule. And probably a million or two will be mine, that with these awards, one resists.

App Store Billion Downloads

The apple iphone app store has reached tremendous success in terms of number of apps and also number of downloads. Apple is eyeing expansion with iphone in more countries, and the number will soon hit a bigger figure. What is the next iphone milestone?

For all we know that the iPhone and iPod touch is fully compatible with iWork (Pages, Keynote and Numbers) and their equivalents in the Microsoft suite, while modification of documents with our device is not possible at the moment. Apple is building the iphone mobile suite on cloud.

With our small iWork’09 in iPod or iPhone could, of amending the text to make a slideshow if you have at hand one of the AV or component cables from Apple. After the jump are some ideas that, as always, you can extend your comments.

We all know that Apple is very interested in appearance, the graphical interface in all its projects, which all have been discovered with the new versions of Mac operating system ever more user-friendly. The interface of this application for the iPhone and iPod touch (iWork Mobile) would have a very clear and simple style. In some blogs, the layout shows a front camera to give the new iPhone video. Personally I think they are showing where the sensors are located in the iPhone. Will these features be a part of the new iphone OS?

As many know that since the launch of new Unibody MacBook, the old computer polycarbonate (or White) are still being sold and we want to see that it is better to buy a Unibody MacBook or a White.

Its lowest price was $1100 and may cost $3100 (including printers, software professionals, Apple Remote). The cheaper model has 2 GB of RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.00GHz and a 160GB hard drive. Its aluminum housing is durable, Glossy Display, iSight built and has no FireWire (either 400 or 800).

The main novelty is whether aluminum housing and LED display, in its more expensive model has the backlit keyboard.

MacBook White begins with a price of $999, but may cost $3000 (including printers, software professionals, Apple Remote …). The basic model has 2GB of RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.00GHz and a 120GB hard drive. Its casing is made of polycarbonate (not resistant), LCD, iSight and built one FireWire 800 port.

The unibody MacBook is very nice, has a rugged aluminum housing and LED display, but does not have FireWire, and for many people this is not acceptable. How do I connect my digital video camera? Apple is designing an adapter for these cases, but like all Apple adapter cost at least $39 (for very good design that has too). On the other hand we have the MacBook White, the only thing that differs from its “big brother” (in the basic model) is the case, the screen, it only has 120GB hard drive (the unibody 160GB) and that this has FireWire.

Xserve, a server-based Mac OS X Leopard Server, has been updated and has a very low price, the Xserve is available from $2799.

This new version has some great new features, Intel “Nehalem” Xeon processor with 4 cores, up to 32GB of RAM (like the Mac Pro) to 3TB of hard drive (Mac Pro has up to 4TB) and a new energy system that is capable of doubling the power of the previous version. Also noteworthy is the first version of Xserve that has a choice of 128GB SSD hard drives and processor “super” power, up to 2.93 Ghz.

Ipod Sales in 2009

The above chart comes from the NPD Group. The chart shows various sales of iPod, from the starting of the year. In this plot shows the strong growth of sales of the iPod shuffle since the arrival of the new model, estimated to have risen by 51%. This means that a new version is like the crowd in spite of their negative comments.

The bad news comes when you discover that the total sales this year (compared to last year) have fallen by 38%. Although a good percentage of users have bought iphones, which covers the functionality of the ipod.

The iphone does replace the ipod in many sitautions and without the carrier contract, the iphone can be a total ipod killer.
