I was sitting with my mac on a coffee shop and I was on the phone talking to one of my friends about designing a web page. The guy at the counter over heard me and I kind of noticed that he was amused by the web design part. When i called for my check, I got a little note that said, the store wanted their web page to be designed by me.
I went to the counter and called for the store owner and I was explaining about the stuff you need to have your web design. You need a good domain name, possibly with your store name as such and a .com extension. You should also some need some good hosting to put all your files on. This is very basic stuff and most of the places, it is self explanatory. You can go ahead and find a good designer for your web page, which starts from a basic $100 for a single page design to higher amounts. It all depends on what you need and how long it will take to design your page. In any case, I should see that all your work should get done under $400 or so and you will have to pay for the web site for a year at a time.
