Acer Laptops has come up with a new product, Acer Aspire Timeline 5810T-354G32Mn Laptop and it is the latest kind of laptop has proved its excellence over the desktops. This laptop from Acer has a stylish and sleek outlook and contains an Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 processor. The processing speed is 1.4 GHz which is appreciably faster,while the speed of the data bus is 800 MHz. This Acer laptop supports 64 bit computing, equipped with a wireless LAN aerial and in built stereo speakers. The dimensions are 378 x 259 x 29.7mm and weighs 2.4 kg.

The Acer laptop consists of a TFT screen which is 15.6 inches and a widescreen type. The maximum resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels and supports 24 bit color. The widescreen is also equipped with LED-backlit feature and CrystalBrite feature. We were at a store last night and a discussion sparked off upon seeing the handheld computers, which can be extremely productive in a business operated by us. We poured in a lot of ideas and did some research to find the best computers and then find the best price. We found that we could manage to get a Symbol MC 75 handheld computer for about $2000. Apple has always been inclined to give the same attitude towards a Apple netbook and we know it is a “firm NO” from Steve Jobs and many others in the Cupertino based hardware giant. There are multiple aspects about the netbook and apple has never shown interest in the low power devices.

Apple has always been a benchmark for other companies and has insisted that ut would probably never work with a atom processor. Steve Jobs quoted in a interview that these devices are not of “Apple Quality” and added “The iphone is the apple netbook”.

Though there has been loud speculation about the apple macbook touch, many sources have confirmed that there will be a apple netbook with touch capabilities. There are also unanimous claims of the hardware specs - 9.7″ touchscreen, $800, and will be released in October this year.

We cooked up this name macbook touch, instead of mac tablet. We also got confirmation from a Chinese newspaper that Apple has a deal with a Chinese company, for building a netbook and the possibilities of a sub $600 hardware.

Although Apple has said “no” several times, testing of these assumptions are still emerging products, but Is it true or false?

On the one hand, we have the constant buzz of the MacBook Mini, which now becomes much more “safe” after discovering that the statistics of Adium have found a strange computer name “MacBook Mini”. Product this supposed to be a non-professional use and more as a MID, music, surfing the internet and see pictures and video in high definition (HD).

On the other side were signs of an alleged iPhone ‘lite’, an iPhone would be smaller, thinner and cheaper than the current one. Now you only have to wait, but not the WWDC’09 because, supposedly, is a developer comferencia.

As many know that since the launch of new Unibody MacBook, the old computer polycarbonate (or White) are still being sold and we want to see that it is better to buy a Unibody MacBook or a White.

Its lowest price was $1100 and may cost $3100 (including printers, software professionals, Apple Remote). The cheaper model has 2 GB of RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.00GHz and a 160GB hard drive. Its aluminum housing is durable, Glossy Display, iSight built and has no FireWire (either 400 or 800).

The main novelty is whether aluminum housing and LED display, in its more expensive model has the backlit keyboard.

MacBook White begins with a price of $999, but may cost $3000 (including printers, software professionals, Apple Remote …). The basic model has 2GB of RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.00GHz and a 120GB hard drive. Its casing is made of polycarbonate (not resistant), LCD, iSight and built one FireWire 800 port.

The unibody MacBook is very nice, has a rugged aluminum housing and LED display, but does not have FireWire, and for many people this is not acceptable. How do I connect my digital video camera? Apple is designing an adapter for these cases, but like all Apple adapter cost at least $39 (for very good design that has too). On the other hand we have the MacBook White, the only thing that differs from its “big brother” (in the basic model) is the case, the screen, it only has 120GB hard drive (the unibody 160GB) and that this has FireWire.

Xserve, a server-based Mac OS X Leopard Server, has been updated and has a very low price, the Xserve is available from $2799.

This new version has some great new features, Intel “Nehalem” Xeon processor with 4 cores, up to 32GB of RAM (like the Mac Pro) to 3TB of hard drive (Mac Pro has up to 4TB) and a new energy system that is capable of doubling the power of the previous version. Also noteworthy is the first version of Xserve that has a choice of 128GB SSD hard drives and processor “super” power, up to 2.93 Ghz.

As discussed in the review of the updated iMac, Apple now has three different keyboards, the wireless, the wires with keypad and the tidy new keyboard without numeric part. This “new” version of the keyboard does not bring anything new, looking like wireless, but with two USB 2.0. The new keyboard might be a good counterpart for a macbook or a macbook pro too, but I prefer the bigger wireless keyboard at workplace, where I use a Imac. The new keyboard is Low profile, nice, sensitive touch.

Commercial Times (Chinese newspaper) reports that Apple has just hired a company to create a touch panel. Is this an Apple proposing this new product? Is it a lie? The further details of this deal is not known, but it is assumed that this “new” product will be launched in the summer (along with Snow Leopard).

Apple Netbook

I personally do not think that can happen because Apple describes the iPhone 3G as a Netbook, and was waiting for this “small” world of the ultra-profitable and, I suppose, the possibility of innovation or revolution (as did with the iPhone or the Mac).

But do I really need an Apple Netbook? NO!! Give me powerful macs!!

Apple Vintage Mac G4

In March, Apple technical services plans to remove some Mac Power PC G4 XServe, and some products. Apple considers these products that are 7 years or more as “obsolete”. All this means that we will not find original parts for repair to our Mac over the old.

Honestly, what are you waiting? What Apple should continue spending money to develop for Mac OS X Power PC, and when they begin to remove their products from Universal?
